Bootcamp Pilates – Case Study

As much as the popularity for getting fitter and healthier is undeniably increasing, so is the ancient art of Pilates to not only keep fit but also combat mental health. No longer are Pilates classes only found in local village halls; most gyms and fitness studios in the country now offer Pilates workout routines. Indeed, since the pandemic, there is an army of people that now work out with Pilates in their own homes via online platforms.
The Client
Dominique Day wanted to attract more people to her Bootcamp Pilates classes at her studios in Notting Hill and Richmond. She wanted to make it easier for people to book their space at a class online. As she didn’t have this functionality in her old website, it was time to upgrade her website and, at the same time, refresh her brand.
Dominique, founder of Bootcamp Pilates, runs two studios, the base in Richmond and one in Notting Hill, offering reformer Pilates group classes as well as personal training sessions. Pilates is a popular way to exercise that builds strength and improves flexibility and overall posture.
Bootcamp Pilates offers reformer Pilates classes online and within their studios, individually or in bulk bookings, as well as personal training sessions, all of which are guided by highly experienced, expert instructors. Anybody of any ability can attend classes to tone, strengthen and sculpt their bodies with dynamic Reformer Pilates.
The Problem
The owner was in the process of refreshing their brand, and their website was part of that process. The previous website was not only out of date but had an old-fashioned look and feel to it. The content was tired, and clients were finding it slow and difficult to book Pilates sessions via the website.
In addition, Bootcamp Pilates were experiencing the problem that clients were booking their exercise session at the wrong studio because the old website didn’t allow for the differences between each studio. Therefore, part of the new website build was to ensure that it was clear to clients which studio they were booking their session for so that there were no longer any errors.
The Solution
Accommodating the new branding colours and logo for Bootcamp Pilates, and to address the issue of ensuring clients know which studio they are selecting, It’seeze Twickenham recommended building a Max site. The new site incorporates a widget and an iframe that is able to link to the different booking systems being used at each site.
As well as ensuring the website loaded quickly, the pages needed to be more on trend with a clear structure and layout, bright and engaging, but also easy to use by clients, allowing them to book their sessions online with ease
The result
Bootcamp Pilates’ new website is not only fresh and fast, but it is also up-to-date. It has been built with plenty of capacity for later expansion as the business continues to grow and develop. Now, when clients land on the website, they have to select their studio first before they are able to continue to book their Pilates group class or personal training session online.
Once the studio has been selected, visitors are now taken to two distinctively different websites, but Bootcamp Pilates’ branding and website consistency remains the same across both websites.
The Richmond studio incorporates the links to a variety of social media channels, whilst the Notting Hill studio includes the option to source Bootcamp Pilates via the Apple or Android store.
Following the new website build, there are no longer any booking errors. The booking system used by each studio is linked to the correct location, and separating the two studios within the website, eliminates any errors and gives each studio its own distinctive identity.
